Policies

These policies serve as the agreement between six & SWEET and our customers. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. Policies and pricing are subject to change without notice.

Allergens & Liability

six & SWEET is not allergen-free or gluten-free. Our equipment may contact peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, fruits, soy, fish, and shellfish. Cross-contamination cannot be completely prevented.

Customers are responsible for notifying all consumers of allergen risks. six & SWEET is not liable for allergic reactions, injuries, property damage, or consequential damages.

Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date.

  • A two-week notice is required for all orders.

  • Final payment is due 3 days before pickup or delivery.

  • Orders placed with less than two weeks’ notice must be paid in full within 24 hours.

  • Retainers are transferable one time within one year for unforeseen circumstances, reviewed case-by-case.

An 8% sales tax applies to all perishable items.

Pickup & Delivery

  • Pickup location will be sent 48 hours before pick-up date.

  • Delivery is available for orders of $200 or more.

  • Delivery fee: $0.85 per mile (round-trip).

  • Setup fee (if applicable): $50.

six & SWEET is not responsible for damage after pickup or delivery. Customers provide their own display materials; we reserve the right to adjust setup for safety.

Décor & Inedible Components

Décor must be approved before final payment. Customers providing décor are responsible for spelling, colors, and food safety.
Non-edible décor must be removed before serving. six & SWEET is not liable for harm from customer-provided items.

Design Variations

Cake design is an art and may vary. Exact color matching or replication of other bakeries’ work is not guaranteed. Adjustments may be made to preserve structure or safety.

Display Conditions & Outdoor Events

Ensure a level, sturdy surface capable of holding the cake. Avoid direct sunlight and temperatures above 72°F. six & SWEET is not responsible for outdoor or environmental damage.

Standard Portions

All cakes are made with 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of filling. Servings are approximate. six & SWEET is not responsible for a difference in servings if directions for cutting are not followed.

Photography & Social Media

six & SWEET may photograph creations for marketing. Photos will not be shared publicly before your event.

Sole Provider

For food safety and quality reasons, all cakes and cupcakes must be provided by six & SWEET. If additional desserts are brought in without prior approval, we reserve the right to adjust setup.

Force Majeure

six & SWEET strives to provide high-quality products and service; however, we are not responsible for delays or issues caused by unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, accidents, illness, or transportation challenges. While we will make every effort to fulfill your order as planned, delays due to such circumstances do not qualify for refunds or discounts.
